Cranberry Stoneware Candle · First Frost

$40.00

A cheerful cranberry pattern, a green rim, and a little holiday fragrance. We found this stoneware vessel at an antique store in the Hudson Valley and filled it with First Frost, our seasonal evergreen scent. Hand-poured by women in the Hudson Valley.

The base is stamped “Cape Cod Stoneware.” Its fruit decoration suggests a piece originally intended for the kitchen or table, though we haven’t confirmed its age or original use. The stamp alone doesn’t tell us where it was made.

FOUND-VESSEL CARE
We choose our found vessels with care, but their previous use and full history are unknown, and we cannot guarantee their integrity under heat.

Always place your candle on a sturdy, heat-resistant tray or plate on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This provides an extra layer of protection but cannot prevent cracking. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from drafts, flammable items, children, and pets.

Trim wicks to ¼ inch before lighting. Stop use if cracks or leaking appear, and stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains. Let the candle cool completely before handling.

This is an edition of one. You’ll receive the ceramic vessel shown in this listing.
